Our Mission & Values

VCSEA’s mission is to empower special education administrators and ensure that every student in Vermont has access to an equitable and supportive learning environment. We do this by promoting strong leadership, nurturing a professional network of peers, and providing the tools needed to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of education.

At the heart of our work are core values: collaboration, advocacy, integrity, mentorship, and service. These principles guide everything we do—from mentoring new administrators to advocating for policy that benefits students, families, and educators alike.
